The First 24 Hours

Isaac has made it through his first full day ex-utero with shining colors. I wonder when will be the day we actually hear him scream like the other babies here.

I have heard that sleeping in 1.5 hour sessions is actually more healthy…

Having our own little boy to look after has already shed new light on God’s word of faithfulness to Israel through Isaiah:

But Zion said, “The LORD has forsaken me, And the Lord has forgotten me.”
“Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.
“Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.

I am sure there are many more of these in store for us on this journey. What a privilege to steward Isaac’s life toward God’s best.
